AND SOMETIMES YOU HIT A SOUR NOTE........

I had no sooner bragged on how good Clay was at this festival business when it all went to hell in a handbasket. I will say though, he was in an uphill battle with that crowd in LIVE OAK, FLORIDA. Why that bunch would have had Arnold for dinner if they could have figured out how to build a fire.

Any time the people in your booth are wearing "camo" head-to-toe, huntin' boots, a REDMAN CHEWING TOBACCO hat, and juice running out both corners of their mouth--AND THIS IS JUST THE WOMEN--then folks, you are in redneck territory, and I mean deeeeep! The above "Queen" of the festival is exhibit "A". I rest my case.
The poor boy almost froze to death and it was wet too! Still he came home and asked when the next show was and could he do it for me. Just like a TIMEX, "he takes a licking and keeps on ticking". If the weather will co-operate, I will send him to one of my favorite spots, Virginia/Highlands, this coming Saturday to see if his luck changes. At least he won't be 350 miles away from home if he strikes out.
On another note, Arnold keeps having nightmares about this ordeal and I am afraid that I am going to have to send him to counseling. I have been checking around. The hold up is not that he can not get an appointment, seems no one has a couch in his size!

THE HOLIDAY MARKET AT ROSEMARY BEACH

The Saturday after Thanksgiving is always a date to which the GLIDER FAMILY looks forward. It is the HOLIDAY MARKET at Rosemary Beach, Florida. Many of the Condo owners are there enjoying the holidays and it kicks of the Christmas season in the community.
There are the traditional things like Breakfast with Santa, the lighting of the Christmas Tree (and not a wimp-ass "Holiday Tree"!), and most of all for me, the HOLIDAY MARKET.
The people are in a festive mood and always a happy mood. Who wouldn't be; on the beach-and not just any beach-the EMERALD COAST, Thanksgiving holiday, and a first class festival right outside your door?!
This year was very different from the past. Janice will no longer be able to travel with me, except in my heart, so a dream come true happens. Our youngest son, Clay, asks if I would let him do the show in my place, as I had already paid and also had an order to deliver there.
He as helped me on other shows in the area, the SEASIDE COMMUNITY YARD SALE, held twice a year, being the main ones.
And man is he good at it, if I do say so myself! And another bonus for Janice and I, he took his oldest son, Craig, with him. That made us twice as proud of Clay, for going solo for the first time, AND, taking his 10 year old son to spend time with. I am not sure I could have pulled it off with the level of expertise that he did.
Janice and I hope this is the beginning of "passing the torch"to one of our children. We have sat and talked about this for hours. For your child to want to follow in your footsteps is a most moving personal moment.
We have built-up a business of many repeat customers. It is not uncommon for someone to say, "I bought from you at the festival in Atlanta last month, for example. And the fact that they were happy and want to buy again says a lot to our personal values. To me, those comments are just as important as the actual sales. You can make money lots of ways, but you can only get customer loyalty one way-EARN IT!
Now I am looking forward to Clay returning from a show and say, "I had some customers ask about you, or Someone ask if I was the son of the guy that used to do this show". Ah, now that would be music!

FLUTTERBY FESTIVAL & FALL and WINTER MARKET at WATERCOLOR---FABULOUS!!!

Here we are at Watercolor, Florida for another wonderful festival. ARNOLD, THE PIG can be seen helping Linda and Mitch Shannon of http://www.cottagecollages.com/ and myself set up.We always try to get ajoining spaces to help each other load and unload, but more importantly, to blend our merchandise to have the most interesting display of the whole show.
The FLUTTERBY FESTIVAL is a children's festival to celebrate the annual migration of the monarch butterfly as it passes through on it way to winter in central Mexico.
Watercolor is known for its ability to produce a very good festival, with entertainment and food that is unbeatable along 30-A. This is all made possible by the hard work of Hillary Fosdyck and Briane Workman of http://www.monarkevents.com/. These two women are masters at what they do. Give them a call if you having an event in the area and want it to
be the most memorable possible.

Linda is in her "mirror" phase as an artist. She had at least 10 mirrors on display and no two are ever alike, as they all are custom made one at a time from reclaimed items.
NOTE the one with piano keys!
If you ever get tired of the "boxed" motel/hotel experience, come to WATERCOLOR, FLORIDA. You will never go anywhere else.

"ARNOLD" AND SCARECROW--HUGE SUCCESS AT HARVEST MARKET, ROSEMARY BEACH

Chuck Hinson of HILLTOP PRODUCTIONS has done it again folks! The 1st Annual HARVEST MARKET of Rosemary Beach, Florida was held Oct. 31st. and despite the few little showers that came and went, the show was a great success for me and Janice.Yes, I got to take Janice with me, which seldom seems to happen. We put Susie in the kennel for a well deserved rest and Janice and I took the whole weekend for ourselves. I thought it was illegal for "working people" to sleep past 8am. Guess not!
The HARVEST MARKET was held in the same location as the WEST INDES MARKET and the HOLIDAY MARKET. The number of vendors was less than at other markets: it could have been due to it being new or the unfavorable weather forecast. Either way there were enough vendors to give the crowd a good selection to browse through and buy.
Janice had us running to the ever popular
WAL-MART to buy candy to hand out to the kids
that would attend the market. She had also
planned ahead and brought her scarecrow costume
to wear.
She can be seen in the second photo posing with
guest celebrity "Arnold the Pig". Arnold as you
may recall was the lead pig on the old TV show
GREEN ACRES.

Here Arnold is talking with the Scarecrow and trying to get some of the free candy that Chuck had thoughtfully given to each vendor to be sure to have treats for the kids. That Chuck thinks of everything!
I want to stop here and personally thank Chuck for being so kind to some new vendors to the show. They needed to set-up next to me to help me unload and then re-load after the show. Chuck said, "No problem". Trust me readers, you don't get that from many promoters.

These are the 7ft.6in. TOY SOLDIERS that Janice makes. They are impressive and have great curb appeal at Christmas time. We have a few left and if you would like some, let me know as some as possible, as it takes a long time to get these guys ready to send out the door.

Joe, my son "the chief lineman" at the glider shop, got this BUNTING WHEAT PATTERN ready the day before we left to go to the show. That kid is amazing at times.
Be sure to check the left hand side of the blog page for updates on coming Rosemary Beach shows, as well as all the other shows that we do.
"Arnold the Pig" and I will be looking for you there!

1 JOKER+3 FAIRIES+1"BIG ASS" PIG= AVONDALE AUTUMN FEST

THIS IS THE RESIDENT "JOKER" GIVING THE MAGIC TWIRL BLESSING TO ONE OF MY GLIDERS! THIS IS SAID TO BRING GOOD LUCK INSIDE THE PERIMETER OF 285-LET'S HOPE SO!

THESE CUTE "LITTLE" FAIRIES JUST HAD TO KISS THE PIG FOR GOOD LUCK. THIS IS A GOOD EXAMPLE OF WHY YOU SHOULD LIMIT THE NUMBER OF ADULT BEVERAGES THAT CAN BE CONSUMED AT A FESTIVAL.

AND OF COURSE, THE HIT OF THE AVONDALE AUTUMN FEST WAS ARNOLD, THE PIG. IF YOU CAN REMEMBER BACK ABOUT 40 YEARS, ARNOLD WAS THE LEADING PIG ON "GREEN ACRES". NOW THIS CHILD TV STAR HAS GROWN UP TO BECOME QUITE THE HAM!

IS IT ANY WONDER THAT I LOVE THE ATLANTA FESTIVALS MARKET? GREAT FUN, GOOD PEOPLE, FABULOUS FOOD, BEAUTIFUL FALL COLORS, AND A 4 FOOT TALL PIG TO CALL MY OWN!

KNOCKERS, BEER and A 260lb.FAIRY---NOW THAT'S CANDLER PARK FESTIVAL!!!!

Although the weatherman predicted doom and gloom it was a beautiful week-end! The kind folks at the festival gave me a fantasic spot to set-up and we helpful in every way. From my stand point, if the promoter will take care of the vendor, the vendor will take care of the customer.
This was my first outing with CANDLER PARK FALL FESTIVAL and I loved it! Held the second weekend in October, this festival draws huge crowds. A vast array of artists, delightful food, and some of the best sounding bands in
Atlanta, and of course a kids zone, the FESTIVAL had something for everyone.
We were visited on Sunday by a local fairy that I see at INMAN PARK FESTIVAL in the spring. He was in the spirit of the show and was entertaining the crowd. "THANK YOU" to whoever his alter ego is, and please visit us again.
What on earth could ever top a truck that is completely a beer keg!? I am sure they have been around for a while, but this was my first sighting and I just had to laugh. For those that like a beer, this has to be an answer to a prayer.

I found an old door out back of my workshop and it just begged me to clean it up a bit and use it for a door knocker display. Well it worked out just fine and I sold many more knockers from the door than I ever do when they are just lying on the table.
SEE SOME THAT YOU LIKE? WANT A PRICE? CONTACT ME AT larrycook351@gmail.com OR 706-302-8902.
NEXT REPORT: AVONDALE AUTUMN FEST, COMING UP THE 24th AND 25th.

WATKINSVILLE---GO DAWGS!!!

Just a little south of the great city of Athens, Georgia-home of the GEORGIA BULLDOGS, is the quaint little southern town of Watkinsville. The third Saturday of October each year is the celebration of the Oconee Fall Festival. The turn out for this annual event is tremendous. I do a lot of shows and I am here to tell you that cities with much larger populations can't match the "SEA OF RED" that I saw last Saturday. This would not be worth mentioning except that there was a steady drizzle/rain all day long. Other festivals only can envy the patriotism of the fans of Watkinsville. I was able to be among the many vendors that huddled under their tents to stay out of the rain. I was fortunate in that in all the bad weather, the crowds were still large enough to give me a profitable day. You can't say that at many shows when the rains come.

So THANK YOU, Watkinsville, and be sure to look for me again next fall.

JUST WHEN YOU THINK SEASIDE CAN'T GET ANY BETTER......

Would you just look at this crowd! The fall and spring yard sales are a must on my list of shows to do each year. Large crowds, sun, sand, beautiful gulf waters are like magnets to my soul. But this year was special and will be hard to top. My son Clay, along with wife Tonya, and children Sarah, Alex, and Emily in tow, can to spend the weekend with Janice and I and to help sell.
We scored a huge 4 room suite right on the gulf, with a balcony overlooking the the street for great "people-watching". Clay and I got up on Saturday morning and had another outstanding yardsale, while Janice was on a fantacy vacation with three of her grandchildren, with Alex and Emily being the two newest members to the COOK clan. I think it would not have mattered how to sale went to Janice. larrycook351@gmail.com 706-302-8902

THREE CALCULATORS AND A REAM OF PAPER LATER.....

WELL IT'S OFFICIAL, THE HIGHLAND/AMSTERDAM MARKET SALES FAR EXCEED ANY OF THE CURRENT VIRGINIA/HIGHLAND RECEIPTS. I ONLY MENTION THIS TO PREFACE THE FACT THAT I MIS-JUDGED THE LOCATION. BY COMPARISON VA/HI IS MORE OPEN AND AIRY IN MY OPINION. LOTS OF FOOT TRAFFIC. APPARENTLY THAT FOOT TRAFFIC JUST KEPT ON WALKING! THE CROWD WAS SMALLER (AT AMSTERDAM), HOWEVER THERE IS GREAT PARKING OPPORTUNITIES BEHIND THE POST OFFICE AND SHOPS; NOT SO AT THE OTHER LOCATION.
I AM SCHEDULED TO GO BACK NEXT WEEKEND, BUT WITH "SUMMER-FEST" JUST DOWN THE STREET ON VIRGINIA AVE., AND THE CROWDS OF PEOPLE THAT IT BRINGS IN, I MIGHT NOT HAVE ENOUGH INVENTORY. DANG, THAT WOULD BE A BUMMER. OH WELL, I MUST GET OUT BACK OF THE ENCHANTED COTTAGE AND SCARE UP SO MORE FABULOUS VINTAGE PORCH FURNITURE. MY TRUSTY KNAVE, JANICE, HAS BEEN PAINTING HER HEAD OFF, TRYING TO KEEP AHEAD OF THE DEMANDS OF THE SPRING SEASON. I JUST MAY GIVE HER A DAY OFF IN AUGUST.
NOTE: THOSE OF YOU THAT KNOW JANICE, KNOW THAT THE LAST PARAGRAPH WAS TOTAL B.S. ON MY PART.

"I WAS JUST DRIVING DOWN THE STREET......."

I LOOKED AROUND AND THIS YOUNG LADY IN THE PICTURE WAS ENTERING MY BOOTH. "I WAS JUST DRIVING DOWN THE STREET AND I SAW THESE CHAIRS!" MAN WAS SEE EXCITED! SHE AND HER FRIEND WERE ON THEIR WAY TO BREAKFAST, BUT SHE COULDN"T WAIT.
WELL AS YOU CAN TELL BY THE LOOK ON HER FACE, TERESA HAD HER OWN "GLIDER STORY" FROM BACK HOME IN MISSOURI. NOW THAT SHE HAS RELOCATED TO ATLANTA, THIS WILL HELP HER STAY GROUNDED TO HER GIRLHOOD PAST BACK HOME. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! ALTHOUGH THIS IS PRETTY MUCH THE TYPICAL REACTION OF PEOPLE WHO REMEMBER THIS ERA, I NEVER GET TIRED OF THE LOOK, OR THE PERSONAL STORIES AND MEMORIES THAT THIS FURNITURE BRINGS BACK. IF I WERE A "MUSHY" GUY, I WOULD SHED A TEAR, BUT GLIDERMEN DON'T CRY. larrycook351@yahoo.com 706-302-8902

IF THE RAIN EVER DOES STOP......

IF THERE IS AN UPSIDE TO THE TORRENTS OF RAIN THAT SEEM TO BEFALL US EVERY WEEKEND, IT IS THAT I HAVE TONS OF INVENTORY. NO MONEY, JUST INVENTORY. BUT BEING A CHILD OF THE '60's, ALFRED E. NEWMAN (MAD MAGAZINE) WAS MY HERO--WHAT? ME WORRY! A GOOD MOTTO TO LIVE BY. THERE AIN'T NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT THE WEATHER EXCEPT STAY DRY OR GET WET. I CHOOSE TO STAY DRY. IT IS PROBABLY A BLESSING IN DISGUISE. WHEN DRY WEATHER DOES SET IN, THERE WON'T BE TIME TO PREP ALL THE CHAIRS AND GLIDERS THAT ARE SURE TO BE IN DEMAND AS HAS BEEN THE CASE IN THE PAST. IF YOU ARE SEARCHING FOR A CERTAIN PATTERN OR STYLE, CALL OR E-MAIL, AS RARE ONES GO FAST.
TO PROVE MY POINT, I JUST PICKED UP A STAR-BURST 3 SEATER GLIDER SATURDAY AND RECEIVED AN E-MAIL INQUIRING ABOUT THAT SAME PATTERN MONDAY. THAT GUY LIVES IN RALEIGH, NC. AND HAS ALREADY CLAIMED 1st DIBS ON IT WHEN I GET IT RESTORED. HE SAID HE HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR A LONG TIME AND JUST GOT LUCKY FINDING ME. LUCK OR KARMA, YOU BE THE JUDGE.

I ALSO WENT TO VIRGINIA/HIGHLANDS SATURDAY AND HAD ALL THE MAKINGS OF HAVING ANOTHER WONDERFUL SHOW THERE WHEN THE RAIN GODS UNLEASHED A FLOOD THAT HADN'T BEEN SEEN SINCE NOAH! NOTHING SAYS COMMITMENT LIKE LOADING IN ANKLE DEEP WATER, IN A BLINDING RAIN. NOT AS MUCH FUN A BEING A POLITICIAN, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO LIE ABOUT IT.
SO MUCH FOR CRYING, BETTER TIMES ARE A COMIN'. SCHOOL WILL BE OUT FOR THE SUMMER THIS FRIDAY AND POSSIBILITIES FOR TRAVEL ARE JUST BEING PLANNED. STAY POSTED FOR MY SEMI-INTERESTING TRAVEL BLOGS.

WEST INDES MARKET-ROSEMARY BEACH, FLA.

WHILE THE POOR SOULS AT SCOTT'S WERE STRUGGLING WITH THE WEATHER, LOW TURN-OUT, AND THE SORRIEST BUNCH OF FLEA-MARKET REJECTS, I WAS BARELY MAKING ENDS MEET (HAVE YOU EVER TRIED TO TOUCH THE ENDS OF A HUNDRED DOLLAR BILL WHEN IT IS ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE ROLL?)

ANYWAY, THE FLORIDA SUN WAS OUT AND SHINING, THE GULF BREEZE WAS BLOWING, AND I WAS B.S.ing MY HEAD OFF. IT SEEMS SHAME WHEN I LIVE ONLY 48 MILES FROM THE ATLANTA ANTIQUE MARKET BUT HAVE TO DRIVE 300 MILES TO MAKE A DESCENT PAY-DAY.

THE WEST INDES MARKET AT ROSEMARY BEACH IS CONDUCTED THE SECOND WEEKEND MAY, JUNE, JULY, AND AUGUST. THE OPENING SHOW OF THE SEASON IS ALWAYS THE BEST. SUNDAY, MAY 10 th, BEING MOTHER'S DAY, I SOLD TWO GLIDERS AS MOTHER'S DAY GIFTS AND RECEIVED ORDERS FOR TWO MORE. BEATS THE HELL OUT OF $19.99 A DOZEN FOR ROSES, AT LEAST ON MY END. I LOVE IT WHEN A GUY REALLY KNOWS HOW TO APPRECIATE THE MOTHER OF HIS CHILDREN BY GIVING HER A GLIDER. NOTHING SAYS TRUE LOVE IN MY BOOK LIKE AN ATLANTA STOVE WORKS 3SEATER ANY COLOR.

ANY CLUELESS HUSBAND/SON/ETC. OUT THERE IN BLOG LAND THAT IS IN THE DOG HOUSE FOR GIVING A DUMB, POORLY THOUGHT OUT GIFT, OR WORSE NO GIFT AT ALL, FEAR NOT, I CAN HELP. E-MAIL ME AND I CAN SEE THAT YOU GET BACK INDOORS IN NO TIME, AT LEAST FOR THIS OFFENSE.

AND GIRLS, IF YOU WERE DEPRIVED, NEGLECTED, OR GOT THE SAME LAME-ASS TRINKET AS USUAL, BEFORE YOU BEAT HIM INTO A STATE OF UNCONSCIOUSNESS, DRAG HIM OVER HERE TO THE SCREEN AND GIVE HIM ONE LAST CHANCE TO REDEEM HIMSELF. YES, I AM WILLING TO HELP. ON BEHALF OF MEN EVERYWHERE, BY-GOD, I WILL RIGHT THOSE UNSPEAKABLE WRONGS......SORRY, FOR A MOMENT I THOUGHT I WAS RUNNING FOR PUBLIC OFFICE AGAIN. QUICK GUYS, BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE, LET ME HELP YOU!

larrycook351@yahoo.com 706-302-8902

AND YES, ONCE AGAIN THAT PIECE OF S... CAMERA LET ME DOWN--NO PHOTOS OF THE MARKET, CROWDS, BIKINIS--NOTHING DAMMIT. I AM WORKING UP THE COURAGE TO ASK THE ONE IN CHARGE FOR A NEW CAMERA. WISH ME LUCK!

May 7, 2009

FREE AT LAST...FREE AT LAST.. THANK GOD ALMMIGHTY WE IS FREE AT LAST

BIG DECISION THIS WEEK! DO WE BITE THE BULLET AND GIVE UP SCOTT'S OR DO WE JUST KEEP MUTTLING ALONG, LOOSING OUR BUTTS AND WASTING OUR TIME ( YOU CAN PROBABLY SEE WHERE THIS IS GOING).
WELL I'M HAPPY TO SAY THAT I AM SPITTIN' GUN POWDER AND LEAD! I AM LOOKING AROUND TO FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO FILL OUR CALENDARS. IT WON'T BE HARD. I COULD BREAK DOWN ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITH MY TRUCK LOADED AND MAKE MORE MONEY THAN I HAVE BEEN MAKING AT SCOTT'S.
AS FOR MY LOYAL CUSTOMERS, E-MAIL ME AND I WILL SEE THAT YOU DON'T GO LACKING.
I WILL BE POSTING FESTIVAL DATES SHORTLY TO LET YOU KNOW WHERE TO FIND ME. TRUST ME, THERE ARE NEW HORIZONS TO BE EXPLORED! COME JOIN ME ON MY QUEST TO CONQUER THAT GREAT UNKNOWN.......WAIT A MINUTE.......GOOD GOD I HAVE GOT TO LAY OFF THAT COUGH SYRUP EARLY IN THE MORNING.larrycook351@yahoo.com. 706-302-8902

2009 ISLE OF 8 FLAGS SHRIMP FESTIVAL

THE 2009 SHRIMP FESTIVAL IS HISTORY. THE CROWDS CAME, THEY BOUGHT, THEY LEFT, HO-HUM. THIS MAKING MONEY BUSINESS IS BECOMING MONOTONOUS (BORING FOR YOU PEOPLE IN ALPHARETTA). SOMEHOW I WILL MUTTLE THROUGH. I AM A SURVIVOR. SOMEONE HAS TO KEEP THE CUSTOMERS HAPPY AND IN LINE. I HATE TO COMPLAIN, IT'S JUST HANDLING ALL THAT DIRTY MONEY WITH SWINE FLU AROUND AND ALL. THANK GOD I HAD JANICE TO COUNT IT FOR ME! AS YOU HAVE MY NOW NOTICED--NO PICTURES. I GUESS I AM GOING TO HAVE TO HAUL MY CHEAP-ASS SELF TO THE STORE AND BUY ONE.

NOW, WITH ALL THAT B.S. OUT OF THE WAY, THE SHRIMP FESTIVAL WAS TRULY GREAT! THE CROWD SEEMED DOWN A LITTLE, BUT THE MOOD WAS FESTIVE. NOTHING STARTS THE SPRING ROAD-TRIP SEASON OFF ANY BETTER THAN A SUCCESSFUL SHOW. IF YOU WERE IN THE AREA AND DID NOT COME YOU MISSED THE FINEST COLLECTION OF FOOD, ART, FOOD, ANTIQUES, FOOD, STUFF, FOOD, ENTERTAINMENT, AND DID I MENTION FOOD, ANYWHERE. GO AHEAD AND PROGRAM IT INTO WHATEVER DEVISE YOU USE (CELL PHONE, BLACKBERRY, PC) FOR NEXT YEAR, OR SIMPLY FOLLOW MY BLOG FOR FESTIVAL UPDATES. INMAN PARK FESTIVAL AND TOUR OF HOMES

MY TRUSTED SIDEKICK, CRAIG (SECOND PHOTO) IS SEEN GUARDING THE FAMILY DYNASTY AT THE 2009 INMAN PARK FESTIVAL. THE WEATHER WAS UNBELIEVABLY PERFECT. THE CROWD WAS EVEN BETTER. PEOPLE SEEMED MORE CAREFREE THIS YEAR OVER LAST (BEING THAT IT WAS RAINY AND THE PRE-ELECTIONS LAST YEAR). THANK GOD FOR SUNSHINE AND DEMOCRATS! YES I SAID IT. MY PARTY IS MADE UP OF WASHINGTON-LINCOLN-JACKSON-GRANT-FRANKLIN. WHOEVER CAN GET US TOGETHER THE MOST OFTEN IS MY MAN. YOU WORK OUT THE DETAILS. BACK TO THE FESTIVAL, IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE REAL SHOW, GET THERE AT 6:30am ON SATURDAY MORNING. THAT IS WHEN THEY START LETTING EVERYBODY IN TO SET UP. THEY HAVE NO SYSTEM THAT I CAN SEE. WHOEVER SHOWS UP FIRST IN LINE IS FIRST TO GET IN. THAT YOU MAY BE BLOCKING EVERY OTHER VENDOR AT THE FESTIVAL IS IRRELEVANT! SOME DAY THERE IS GOING TO BE A SLUG-FEST. IT'S GOOD ENTERTAINMENT IF YOU LIKE HUMAN COMEDY. THE PARADE IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER HELD IN ATLANTA AND IS NOT TO BE MISSED(LAURIE).larrycook351@yahoo.com706-302-8902

SUSIE,KILLER SALESPERSON-DISGUISED AS A BEAGLE

SATURDAY APRIL, 18, SUSIE BEGINS HER ON THE JOB TRAINING AS A MASTER GLIDER SALESPERSON(OR CANINE). SHE IS SEEN HERE OBSERVING THE TRAFFIC PATTERN AND GETTING A FEEL FOR THE CROWD AT THE INTERSECTION OF VIRGINIA AND HIGHLAND AVE. SHE STRATEGICALLY PLACES HERSELF BY THE SIGNAGE FOR MAXIMUM EFFECT. AS SHE DRAWS IN THE TRAFFIC FROM THE STREET, I CLOSE THE DEAL ON SEVERAL ITEMS, ONE OF WHICH WAS A THREE SEAT GLIDER FROM ATLANTA STOVE WORKS. I TRIED TO INTICE HER TO COME TO INMAN PARK NEXT WEEK TO HELP ME WITH THE FESTIVAL CROWDS THERE, BUT SHE HAS ALREADY PROMISED JANICE THAT SHE WOULD ATTEND THE FAMILY REUNION SCHEDULED FOR THE SAME WEEKEND. OH WELL, I WILL GET BY AS BEST I CAN WITHOUT HER! larrycook351@yahoo.com  706-302-8902

AFTER ALMOST 11 YEARS OF PAMPERING, SUSIE FINALLY EARNS HER KEEP! SUNDAY, APRIL 19th, AT LAKEWOOD 400, SHE USES ALL THE CHARM AND FINESSE IN HER CONSIDERABLE ARSENAL TO CLOSE THE DEAL. SHE IS SEEN HERE POSING WITH HER SALE, WHICH WAS THE HIGH SALE (AND HIGH POINT) OF THE DAY. EXPECT TO SEE MORE OF THIS AMAZING CANINE IN THE COMING WEEKS.larrycook351@yahoo.com 706-302-8902
